Cluster PEACE Science Data Acqusitions During Commissioning in 2000

Andrew Fazakerley, January 25, 2001

The list below gives an indication of when PEACE instruments ran for extended intervals on the Solid State Recorder. During most of these times, science-type operations were rehearsed, using the agreed standard science mode, although in some cases other sensor setups or data product choices were made. The accuracy of the quoted times is not guaranteed.

Usually there is an hour or so of BM1 for the near apogee intervals and the rest is NM1.

Spacecraft 1

SSR Orbit 1                     28 Nov (09:44 - 13:44 magnetopause)
                                29 Nov (08:40 - 12:40 polar regions)

                                       region NICE)
SSR Orbit 3                     16 Nov (20:23 - 00:24

                                01 Oct (11:50 to 14:50 polar regions)

Correlator Commissioning        05 Dec (this was probably too brief
                                       to be useful)
