Over the past two years we have been searching for soft X-ray signatures of TypeIV and TypeII radio bursts , using simultaneously obtained positional data with the Nancay (France) radio heliograph in the range 150-450 MHz , and Yohkoh/SXT imaging data. This proposal is a formalization of the ongoing research. We have already studied one flare continuum along with soft X-ray structures, observed on Sept 10,1994.We are now in the process of completing a paper on a classical typeIV event with TypeII and TypeIII bursts, and their soft x-ray signatures , observed on Feb 18,1993.In particular,we are interested in observing what kinds of x-ray structures are associated with moving Type IV and stationary Type IV , and what relationships they have with the associated TypeII events. For example, we'd like know if the moving typeIV are asociated with soft X-ray ejecta or are they associated with expanding plasmoids or loops. We have compiled a list of additional 4/5 events whose dates and timings will be communicated later .The timings of the two events are: Sept 10, 1994 ~ 09:00 - 11:30 UT Feb 18, 1993 ~10:00 - !2:00 UT
