Doppler Lensing: A New Cosmological Probe David Bacon (University of Portsmouth) Abstract: Doppler lensing is a relatively unstudied phenomenon: the apparent change in size and magnitude of objects associated with their peculiar velocities. In this seminar I will give an introduction to the effect, and show how we can use it as a probe of cosmology and gravity.
