The PhD students at MSSL take it in turns to present the research that they are currently working on to one another.
This gives us an opportunity to make a presentation of about 30-45 minutes to our peers who work in the seven different
research groups that we have here at MSSL.
Being able to communicate our work to scientists from different disciplines is an essential skill in the modern world of
research. We therefore use these student presentations to practise teaching each other about our work, from a public-understanding
level through to PhD standard cutting-edge original research.
