Second announcement: Abstract deadline reminder and registration required

The space environment is a multidisciplinary topic in science, applications and engineering, covering exciting areas of high current interest including observing the Earth and planets, the sun-Earth connection, Earths environment in space, hazard warning and forecasting and the underlying space and spacecraft technologies. There are natural connections between these areas in terms of the scientific techniques and the space technology required. Some of the connections are only now being discovered and exploited, and this discussion meeting will provide a timely focus for pursuing these further and identifying others.

Abstract deadline reminder

Poster presentations (up to size A0, to fit in space 3 feet wide by 4 feet high) are invited for the meeting.
REMINDER abstract deadline 15 September 2001.
Please send title, authors and abstract to: rsspacemeeting@mssl.ucl.ac.uk

Registration required:

Whether you are presenting a paper or not we request that you register for the meeting by email to rer@mssl.ucl.ac.uk.
Please indicate by 5th October:

  1. Which days you will attend the meeting (16/17/18 October)
  2. Any special dietary requirements

If you have already sent this information it is not necessary to re-send it.

Due to the generous support of the meeting sponsors (confirmed so far are Astrium, BAS, BNSC, CCLRC/RAL, Eumetsat, NERC, PPARC, and QinetiQ) it will not be necessary to charge a registration fee.
