Cluster Cooling Flows:  Now
* The Reflection Grating
Spectrometer on XMM-Newton is
the first instrument capable of
quantitatively testing the explicit
cooling flow spectral predictions
for a broad sample of clusters.
* Surprisingly, we have found a
systematic deficit of low
temperature emission in all cases,
starting at roughly half the
background temperature.
* This effect has been difficult to
reconcile with any of the standard
theoretical models.
