Background
When the DPU freezes (or the ICU though this has not yet happened) the power to the DEM must be cycled to force a reboot as commanding is not possible.
Cycle power of DEM
Purpose
Power off and then power on the redundant DEM for example if the DPU is stuck.
Steps to run
start icu_tdrsshk_on(300)
[TDRSS]
start dpu_tdrsshk_on
[TDRSS]
start uvot_power_off
but see below ... [3min MAL or 10min TDRSS]
- Power off only redundant systems
- click "cancel" on prime systems
- The order is
- UVOT_TM_POWER_OFF(prime, "A") - cancel
- UVOT_TM_POWER_OFF(prime, "B") - cancel
- UVOT_TM_POWER_OFF(redundant, "A") - OK
- UVOT_TM_POWER_OFF(redundant, "B") - OK
- ... continue to power off the DEM? - OK
- UVOT_DEM_POWER_OFF(prime, "A") - cancel
- UVOT_DEM_POWER_OFF(prime, "B") - cancel
- UVOT_DEM_POWER_OFF(redundant, "A") - OK
- UVOT_DEM_POWER_OFF(redundant, "B") - OK
start uvot_power_on("REDUNDANT", "AB")
[7min MAL (or 12min TDRSS with problems)]
start sc_poweron_pri_uvot_tm_a
start icu_idle
- edit, CVS and deliver uvot_limits.proc - change limits of SBCTXERRCNTICU, SBCTXERRCNTDPU and D_BOOT_CNT (and SBCRJCTTC_DPU if necessary).
