The procedure for changing the heater configuration can be used for the heater control test or for contingency. For the heater checkout one would cycle through on/off of all heaters individually. (See XMM-OM/MSSL/ML/0010: User Manual Part 3: Telecommand and Telemetry Specification, Section 2.2.4.4.3, pages 27-28).
The ICU is in mode 1-5 (any of the operational modes).
