• XMM RPS Users' Manual
  A guide to XMM Remote Proposal Submission from ESA. Topics include planning an observation, use of different instruments, filling in a proposal form, and submitting the proposal form remotely.

  This proposal guide deals with concerns relating specifically to the XMM Optical Monitor. Topics include an explanation of star tracking windows and non-default OM science windows.

• XMM-Newton Scheduling
  The XMM Newton Scheduling page at ESA has links to several useful pages and tools: target of opportunity alert, target of opportunity details, and a target visibility checker among others. The target visibility tool allows a user to enter the RA and Dec of a proposed object. The tool returns the satellite revolution, date, and duration that the target will be visible to XMM-Newton.
