About Me (Under Construction)

On holiday in New Zealand, Milford Sound (April 2014)

I was born in the city of Exeter, Devon, UK, and grew up in a tiny village in the centre of Devon called Copplestone. Green rolling hills, beaches, moors, farms, a nice place to grow up in. I attended primary school, secondary school and sixth form in the area.

I moved to Leicester for four years for my undergraduate and integrated masters where I studied Mathematics with Astronomy. I graduated from the University of Leicester with a 1st at MMath level in 2011.

I started a PhD in astrophysics at Mullard Space Science Laboratory in October 2011, studying under Dr. Daisuke Kawata, and have spent an enjoyable 3 years so far in this somewhat unusual but excellent institute!
