Reformatter

Step 0 - clear old data

This process removes all the left-over files produced by an earlier run of the refomratter software.

• remove md files

  Delete all the eis_md_yyyymmdd_hhmmssuuu ccsds packet files from the
  $merge_dir directory which may be left over from a previous run of the reformatter.

• remove status files

  Delete all the eis_sts_yyyymmdd_hhmmssuuu ccsds packet files from the
  $merge_dir directory which may be left over from a previous run of the reformatter.

• remove dmp files

  Delete all the eis_dmp_yyyymmdd_hhmmssuuu ccsds packet files from the
  $merge_dir directory which may be left over from a previous run of the reformatter.

• remove join files

  Delete all the eis_dmp_yyyymmdd_hhmmssuuu ccsds packet files from the
  $merge_dir directory which may be left over from a previous run of the reformatter.

• remove fits files

  Delete all the eis_dmp_yyyymmdd_hhmmssuuu ccsds packet files from the
  $merge_dir directory which may be left over from a previous run of the reformatter.

• remove decompressed files

  Delete all the eis_dmp_yyyymmdd_hhmmssuuu ccsds packet files from the
  $merge_dir directory which may be left over from a previous run of the reformatter.

• remove fetch logs

  Delete all the eis_dmp_yyyymmdd_hhmmssuuu ccsds packet files from the
  $merge_dir directory which may be left over from a previous run of the reformatter.

• remove text files

  Delete all the eis_dmp_yyyymmdd_hhmmssuuu ccsds packet files from the
  $merge_dir directory which may be left over from a previous run of the reformatter.

• move rescued files

  Move all the eis_md_yyyymmdd_hhmmssuuu ccsds packet files from the
  $merge_dir/rescue/ directory which may be left over from a previous run of the reformatter
  to the $merge_dir/orphans directory.
