Editing the study raster

This procedure describes the steps used to reduce the time taken for a raster to run.
This is necessary to test studies which have a long run time.
To shorten the run time of the raster the one or more of the following properties will have to be changed:

the length of exposures
the number of exposures
the number of pointings

Procedure

In the xterm type:

  This window appears:

  Scroll to the correct raster, or search for it using the Acronym text field.
  Load the required raster by clicking the 'Load Raster' button and close this window by clicking the 'Dismiss' button.
  This window is now visible:

  Change the number of pointings to something more reasonable:

Save raster: image of menu
Select the 'Update existing' radio button in the dialog box:

Press enter in all the text entry boxes and select thre author from the pull down menu widget. This is done to ensure that all the parameters are registered with IDL.
Save the raster to the database by pressing the 'Save to database...' button.

This dialog box will popup:

The Id and Description will obviously be different each time.
Dismiss the window by pressing the 'OK' button.
