SOC enhancement requests

XMM SOC user support will be provided by only three full-time astronomers. The size of this small team makes it immediately obvious that SOC enhancement requests and also other manual interactions with the proposal database must be limited to a minimum.

SOC enhancement WILL be required for the following types of observations:

• Observations with non-default OM science windows ,

• concatenated observations ,

• linked observations .
