Notes:
We imagine a spherical region with a radius of 300 Mpc (ie a volume of 1e75m), and fill it with 1000 radio galaxies. Throughout a typical lifetime of about a million years, each galaxy emits about 1e53 to 1e55 Joules.
(These are reasonable assumptions for the local supercluster - the energy output is on the optimistic side)
