The Yohkoh Data Archive Centre (YDAC) was established to provide access to data from the Japanese Yohkoh mission. It affords facilities similar to those available to scientists who visit ISAS (Sagamihara, Japan). The YDAC works closely with NASA's Solar Data Analysis Center (SDAC) to enhance access to all solar data. While the focus of the YDAC continues to be Yohkoh data, the varied demands placed on the Centre by those analysing these data have encouraged its evolution and data products from TRACE and SoHO are now also available, as well as an increasing amount of ground-based and geophysical data.
The Yohkoh Data Archive Centre was established in 1994 for the benefit of the UK solar physics community. It is funded through a special grant from the UK Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council (PPARC) and is located at the Mullard Space Science Laboratory of University College London.
If you would like more information about access to the YDAC, or details of its facilities, please contact ydac@mssl.ucl.ac.uk.
The YDAC holds a complete set of data from all the Yohkoh instruments, as well as data from the TRACE mission. All Data Requests to the YDAC are subject to the YDAC Data Policy.
The Analysis Guides for Yohkoh and TRACE are maintained by the YDAC.
