Yohkoh
Data Archive Centre

The Yohkoh Data Archive Centre (YDAC) provides access to data from the Japanese Yohkoh mission - it affords facilities similar to those available to scientists who visit ISAS (Sagamihara, Japan). The YDAC was established in 1994 for the benefit of the UK solar physics community and is funded through a special grant from the UK Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council (PPARC). The Centre is located at the Mullard Space Science Laboratory (MSSL; University College London), and operates as part of the MSSL Solar Group.

The YDAC works closely with NASA's Solar Data Analysis Center (SDAC) to enhance access to all solar data. While the focus of the YDAC continues to be Yohkoh data, the varied demands placed on the Centre by those analysing these data have encouraged its evolution and data products from TRACE and SoHO are now also available, as well as an increasing amount of ground-based and geophysical data.
